RhythMM was started in the summer of 2023 by co-founders Michèle King and MacKenzie Greenwell out of a desire to grow the percussive dance community here in Nova Scotia. Within the rich histories of various percussive dance forms lies their ties to music, as such, an integral part of our work focuses on fostering partnerships within the local music community. Through community engagements such as hosting workshops, producing shows and creating spaces for dance and music to co-exist we have continued to drive forward on our mission. Our intent is to ensure continuous growth, and support this collaborative community that we have here in Nova Scotia.

RhythMM Sessions are a weekly hosted exploration of music and percussive dance. It is open to all and invites community members of various backgrounds to come and share their knowledge and play in an inclusive space.
